Flying from Chiang Mai to Koh Samui, starting the southern beach trip

We took a flight from Chiang Mai to Koh Samui via Thai Air Asia. Upon arrival, we checked in at the Chaweng Cove Beach Resort located near the beach. The resort provided free Wi-Fi, and the price was approximately $100 per night.

Enjoying leisure time under the sun on Chaweng Beach

We soaked up the sun, swam, and felt the sea breeze on Chaweng Beach. My girlfriend and I strolled on the beach, admiring the distant blue sea. There were also some water activities such as kayaking and surfing, and we chose to rent a kayak and paddle over the sparkling waves.

Trying Koh Samui’s signature cuisine

At noon, we dined at a restaurant called The Jungle Club. The restaurant was located on a hill, overlooking the entire Koh Samui, with fantastic scenery. We tried Koh Samui’s signature coconut dish (around $6) and green curry chicken (around $8).

Joining Koh Samui’s Full Moon Party

In the evening, we attended the Full Moon Party held on Haad Rin Beach. It was a night full of music, dance, and revelry. People danced and drank on the beach, making friends from all over the world. My girlfriend tried Thailand’s signature bucket cocktails (around $5), and she said it was a unique experience.

An unexpected pool party

When we returned to the resort, we found a pool party taking place by the pool. We decided to join in and jump into the pool with other guests, enjoying this unexpected surprise.

The Day 4 trip to Koh Samui allowed us to experience the perfect combination of beach, sun, and wine. Tomorrow we will head to Phuket, looking forward to exploring Thailand’s beautiful underwater world.
