Day 6: Sydney to Melbourne

In the morning, we packed our bags and said goodbye to our Airbnb in Sydney. We took a taxi to the Sydney International Airport and completed the departure procedures, preparing to fly to another famous city in Australia – Melbourne.

Arrival in Melbourne

After a 1 hour and 40-minute flight, we arrived at Melbourne Tullamarine International Airport. After completing the immigration procedures, we took the SkyBus to the city center. Melbourne’s streets are full of artistic atmosphere, with ancient buildings and modern designs blending perfectly, making people linger.

Check-in at a Melbourne Airbnb

We had booked an Airbnb located in the center of Melbourne in advance. The price was approximately $120 AUD per night and the location was excellent. The room was exquisitely decorated and incorporated the unique artistic atmosphere of Melbourne.

Flinders Street Station and Melbourne Arts Centre

In the afternoon, we visited the landmark building of Melbourne – Flinders Street Station. This is a historic train station with a unique architectural style. Afterwards, we went to the Melbourne Arts Centre to visit an exhibition by a local artist. Here, we felt the strong artistic atmosphere of Melbourne.

Melbourne Night Tour

At night, we strolled through the streets of Melbourne and enjoyed the city’s night view. Melbourne’s nights are uniquely charming, with neon lights flashing and various open-air restaurants and bars decorating the city like a poem. We tasted Melbourne’s specialty cuisine at a characteristic restaurant and spent a pleasant night.
